More Olympic projects- a big well done to Mr. M's classes this time!

The Olympic rings and Olympic torches proved popular, and we have to say a big thank you to Charlie for the Olympic cookies!!

And so they start - here come our fantastic Olympics Projects!

This was Hollie's first project since joining the class, and it won her a round of applause! She really went the 'extra mile' here.

This project secured Kelsey another 'A grade with a smiley face'! We also enjoyed the three videos that she had to accompany it. The box that she made to keep her project in was also a fantastic and original idea!

Abdul and Sammy collaborated on this project. The booklet in the bottom right of the picture contained a huge amount of info, and we were all really impressed that they knew this well enough to talk about it.

Callum, Fahim, Rayhan and Sayek are preparing a presentation to tell teachers from other schools all about the fantastic home-learning projects you have produced this year.

Ryan with his Olympic Project. Ryan ordered polystyrene rings from the internet and painted them. He then produced a booklet of information to go with the model.Well done Ryan- nearly everybody who entered the classroom this afternoon asked about your work!

Brenden and Faisal produced a life-sized project. A special thanks also to the member of Y10 who carried it to school for them!

Erin was inspired by a visit to Hobbycraft. We were inspired by how well she talked us through the information that she had researched!

Great presentations today 7H3 - super home-learning again!

Emma certainly went the 'extra mile' with this piece of work. All of the pictures lift up, to reveal even more interesting information.

First piece of work from 7H3; Well done Burhan- you've given Rayhan a run for his money!

Burhan chose 'Military Vehicles'. The plane is an American bomber, and is made out of papier mache. You can see that Burhan has also put together an information booklet to accompany the model.

And another well done to Gurmeet.... Gurmeet produced an excellent movie that met all of our success criteria. The music that accompanied it was very suitable  - the hour you spent selecting this was well spent Gurmeet!

Amazing WW2 home-learning projects: More photos as promised!

This is Haseena's work on 'Military Vehicles'. It meets all of our success criteria- it is imaginative, AND the wheels lift up to reveal her research!

Well done once again to Brenden. The class particularly liked how Brenden included one of his sources (a DVD) in the inside cover. We will try and watch an extract from this next week - Brenden can tell us the best bit!

The 'Military Vehicles' option proved very popular - this is Aneel's work on the topic. We are looking forward to seeing this work presented next week.

Callum also opted to study 'Military Vehicles'. Callum's project included ACTUAL photographs from the time, that one of his family members took!

Abby made this tank - it took 7 hours! Abby also researched battles in which tanks were used.

This is Georgia's project on Pearl Harbour. There is a fantastic timeline on the other side too!

This is a section from Sayek's work on military vehicles. The vehicles have been made from mint boxes, which Sayek has painted. If you open the vehicles up, you will find the research that Sayek has done.

This is just one page of the amazing book that Erin put together on George VI. This book wins the prize for the most glitter I have ever seen on a piece of home-learning!
